[attr="class","GGcontenttemp1"] i. Short haired calico with honey gold eyes.[break][break] ii. Wysteria- She was born on that flower, -star she's a leader. [break][break] x. Appearance[break] [Body] This femme is a uniquely built cat. Her body is long, thin, and tall, built to look intimidating and formidable. On top of that, her height allows her to see things farther or higher up than the usual cat. This she-cat has a very rounded appearance, her ears curved, her eyes ovals, her muzzle round, everything is smooth and blends together quite well, making her a gorgeous but formidable opponent or equal. Her paws are small, surprising for such a lengthy cat, this allowing her to be sneaky and cunning. [Pelt] Calico. That's putting it simply. Into my developing her appearance, I soon realized... she looks just like Spottedleaf! Anyways, her pelt is white based, making the main color of her short haired coat the bright twinge the clouds are, an unusual thing for ThunderClan, who consist mostly of dark furred cats. The gold on her pelt is scattered about in an interesting but gorgeous way. Splotches rest at the base of her tail, near her tail tip, on her right side, her neck, and covering the farthest thrid of her face to the right, including her ear. Now, to make more sense, black spots also dot her pelt at her tail tip, her left hip, her left shoulder, on her right side, and the farthest left third of her face. This odd collection of colors blends well together, making her scary appearance soften to a hidden deadliness and a pretty look. [Face] Her face is round but her cheeks fluff out a bit to make her looks more unique. Her face seems to be devided into thirds going vertically. On the right, it's golden, the center is white, and the left is black like the midnight sky. On her muzzle is a small, triangular pink nose, where black whiskers sprout nearby on her face, a attribute most cats can't say they have because black whiskers are a hard to find genetic line. Now, to complete her beauty, honey gold opticles compliment her appearance, round and bright lined with black fur to make them truly pop. These eyes betray her on occasion and will sometimes reveal emotions she's trying to hide, but more often then not, they don't do this, keeping her content with her appearance. [break] [break] xx. Personality[break] Wysteriastar is very protective of family, friends, or anyone that holds her trust (there are few of them). Being her friend, that's great for you, especially if you're the type of cat everyone picks on, she'll stick up for you even if it gets her hurt. She's stubborn that's for sure but only during this circumstance and when she's arguing, which doesn't happen often. Anyone tries to hurt her strong kin or close friends, expect a world of hurt or a sudden wall protecting the cat in harm's way. She will stay and defend until her last breath, on a side, meaning she's very loyal.
Trustworthy! Perfect word for her.... most of the time. This femme never breaths a word about secrets and is a great cat to get the truth out of. She'll hold a secret to her grave, no matter the cost, even if it's her life at stake. She tends to be smart about her trust though, and despite letting others trust her, she doesn't trust others easily. (Exceptions!)
Wise, another excellent word for Wyst. Mixed into this wise, intellectualism is thrown in making her not just wise but smart. Also, the reason she takes bullying so seriously is because, at a young age, she was bullied for being so smart and wise. But, she ignored it, and typically, it ended with her crying for her mother or father (who died soon after her birth), since she doesn't take verbal attacks well. Being smart set her ahead in training to be a warrior and it boost her self esteem when those bullies failed to do things she thought were easy.
Suffers in silence. Sadly, this applies to her. This part of her, can possibly be a downfall or a strength. Not telling anyone her problems, she shoves them down until they're forced and bubble out at an uncontrollable yell of anger or sob of sadness. She sometimes, even blames herself for things that aren't her fault and because she shares her feelings with no one, she can beat herself up pointlessly and often does.
Listen to your heart. This is something she dearly believes in. She follows her heart, no matter the consequence and would jump off a cliff if her heart told her it was right. This, naturally, makes clan vs love choices, difficult to quickly choose between, not that love is a big thing for her. Now, for that part about trustworthiness, at the end, the exceptions.... well, it falls under this. If her secrets will get all of her close family or friends killed, she'll spill it, but only if it's her own secret needing to be spilled. She'd much rather take all the damage than see her loved ones in agony. The loyalty, also falls under this, meaning if her heart tells her that her loyalties lie else where, she'll listen and put her faith in something that feels correct.
Can't take verbal attacks, if she's insulted just a few times, it can tear her wall down and make her burst into tears, not able to be hit emotionally, for words do more damage to her than teeth or claws. Any insults go straight to her self esteem and lower it, also, her brain stores the insults, keeping them locked away until she's depressed or upset with herself so they can come back and hit her with a round of weeping once more.
Due to a horrible kit through deputy-ship life, she has a wall built around herself. She doesn't feel very many emotions anymore, and trusts few if anyone at all. She's prone to be cold towards love and rogues and it's hard to get her immediate opinion without her thinking thoroughly about her decision.[break] [break] xxx. History[break] ~Kithood;
Wysteriastar was born to a young couple by the names of Melodicflower and Obsidianfur. She grew up like any other kit, along with her two siblings Wingedkit and Lovekit. Most was fine until she reached her sixth moon. Many kits would play together, and include everyone, but for some reason they liked to leave Wysteriakit out of their 'clique'. Everytime she'd approach them and try to interact, they'd either call her names or ignore her completely. One of her sisters, Lovekit, a somewhat snooty red tabby, would join them, however, Wysteriakit was never sure why. After all, Lovekit was her kin, why would she do that to her? Thankfully, Wingedkit was always by Wysteriakit's side, trying to keep her hopes up by telling her to forget the others, and that they didn't matter. The tiny calico tried her best to believe, but always found herself thinking negative things and consistantly wondering what might be wrong with her.
"Why don't they like me, Wingedkit?" Wysteriakit mewled, her voice laced with sadness. She was in no way different from the others, they were all kits in the same Clan, with the same warrior blood. They just treated her like she were someone totally different. She didn't understand. Wingedkit tucked her tail around her sister's side, then gave her a loving lick on the cheek. "Don't mind them!" she squeaked in a hush tone, her dark pupils glancing to the side. "They're a bunch of mouse-brains anyhow, you wouldn't want to be their friend."
"Besides, you got me." the black-furred she-cat purred affectionately. "Together we're unstoppable, remember?" Wysteriakit turned towards her sister, a weak smile crossing her features for a few moments, before it disappeared. "Right." she agreed, voice slightly shaky. "Unstoppable."
The next few moons, Wysteria had tried to avoid the group of rude kits, sticking by Wingedkit whenever she was able to, forming a bond with her sister that no one truly understood. Just in case she ran into them, she knew her sister would defend her -- something she wasn't able to do for herself just yet.
The three kits' father had eventually grown sick with a very bad case of greencough. He lasted a few sunrises but eventually was tired of living when he couldn't contribute to the clan or his family, so he had given up trying to battle the virus and had died in his sleep, where the medicine cat had looked over him until his last breath. This, in particular, shook Wyst from her self moping, her more understanding parent passing on and leaving the whole family rattled.
"Kits... your father's.... not going to be getting better." The very sentence that came from the gray she-cat made Wysteriakit's skin crawl. "What are you talking about? The medicine cat said he was only sick," the little calico squeaked at her mother. She could tell it was serious as soon as Melodicflower curled her tail over the three of them... she never cuddled them randomly, it was only when they were upset or were going to be. "Obsidianfur... went to StarClan," the young queen murmured.
In that moment, the three kits were frozen, each lost in their own thoughts of surprise and sorrow. Lovekit, ironic to her name, seemed the least effected while Wysteriakit and Wingedkit looked at eachother with grief written all over their faces. Never again... would anything be the same they realized.
From then on, Wysteriapaw was a little bit more emotional yet withdrawn at the same time. She still was with Wingedkit all the time, keeping herself away from the cats that didn't want to even look at her it seemed. They built up their relationship with their mother, to fill the hole that lingered in their hearts. Nothing bad seemed to happen after that, everything settled down though the usual problems still lingered... after all... happy endings are the rarest of rare.
~Apprenticeship
Upon reaching her sixth moon, Wysteriastar had already lost her father, and come to realize that Lovekit was anything but loving to her family. Wysteriakit, Wingedkit, and Melodicflower had a bond stronger than the trunk of a tree at this point though, making Wyst forget about her small problems and allowing her some enjoyment in life. Finally, they were rewarded with their apprentice names, the thing all kits couldn't wait to recieve.
"Your mentor will be... Foxfire," the name made her freeze. Foxfire... the tall, scary she-cat?! She was her mentor?! Wysteriapaw looked behind herself and saw the dark red tabby towering behind her, waiting to touch noses. The calico blinked, swallowing past the terrified lump in her throat before touching her nose to her new mentor's. Wingedpaw was beside her, doing the same, as well as Lovepaw and two other tom cats that had also been made apprentices.
She looked at her sister after she got away from her mentor and grinned, and they celebrated, relishing their new names until they couldn't keep their eyes open and fell asleep in their new nests, joy radiating from them for the first time in moons.
As she continued through her apprenticeship, she fell for a tom cat, and she fell hard, especially when he turned around and stomped on her heart it seemed. He happened to be a 'bad boy,' the type of tom no one can get their paws on so every femme is after him. Well, when she was talking to him, he cut her off, insulted her, then walked away as if nothing happened, leaving her to run off to her sister and cry.
Wingedpaw naturally comforted her sister with all of her love and compassion, but not without giving that tom a piece of her mind first. Wysteriapaw was hidden inside herself for awhile, scared to interact or speak to anyone in fears of getting hurt again. She also went to Foxfire, since most of her time was now spent with her to do training and perfect her skills.
Well, this heart break hardened her. Foxfire, being a new good friend of hers, taught her how to hold herself high and keep herself strong in appearance. Wysteriapaw soon found out that Foxfire had once been a lot like her and the thought made her smile, glad to have someone that understood. This she-cat, she respected and loved like an older sister, and learned everything from, be it personal lessons or the lessons everyone had to learn to be a warrior.
~Warriorhood
"You will be known as Wysteriaeffloressence." The name rang in her ears as she grinned up at the leader who was announcing her warrior name. "-will be known as Wingedhope." She hadn't been paying attention and only caught her sister's warrior name, which was just as cool as her own in her opinion. She grinned brightly at the black she-cat next to her, whose sea green eyes were glowing with her mirrored happiness, their hard training had finally paid off. "And-" She blinked, looking behind them, searching for their mother's dark pelt in the crowd. "-known as Lovecurse." The calico couldn't help but grin, Lovecurse... sounded about right for that pain in the behind.
At this point in her life, Lovecurse had become an enemy and Wingedhope her best friend as well as Foxfire and Melodicflower, who were just as understanding and loving as her black furred sister. Well, Foxfire had trained her well and she was one of the best and most witty young cats out there, and she knew how to hold her high and show authority and make others respect her.
Well... her happiness with Wingedhope was short lived. Not long after their promotion to full warriors, Wingedhope died in an 'accident' with a 'rogue.' It didn't take long for the smart femme to figure out there was a traitor among them. Lovecurse had been acting suspicious lately, so she was her main suspect, and the fact that she showed no sorrow towards Wingedhope's death almost confirmed it.
Wysteriaeffloressence became very anti social after this and her wall became stronger, severing almost all ties with others to protect herself, worried she might lose eveyone she cared about. Melodicflower also became the same way, concerned that Wyst might be the next to go, her thoughts matching Wysteria's. Obsidianfure, gone. Wingedhope, gone. Lovecurse, disowned. They only had eachother, and they feared for the other's life.
It wasn't long before she was assigned an apprentice, her skills and qualities admired by the cats that knew her. Her apprentice was a little black she-cat named Blissfulpaw, a gentle and outgoing she-cat that reminded her of Wingedhope so much so that it was difficult for her to train her at first. Reminded of her mentor and friend, Foxfire, Wyst did her best to teach this young cat all she knew. She bonded well with Blissfulpaw and was just as excited when her first apprentice was given her warrior name, Blissfuldance. It suited the she-cat, and Wysteriaefflorence cheered above the clan, wondering if this was what it was like to have your kit become a warrior, so much pride.
As the winter settled in, the leader became ill, already low on lives, everyone knew the head of the clan would die soon. The deputy soon took over almost everything, the sick leader unable to do much. Halfway through leafbare, the leader died, leaving them with a new leader and an unnamed deputy...
~Deputyhood
Over the next few moons, Wysteriaeffloressence had experienced a normal deputyhood, despite constant watch over her remaining sister, Lovecurse. Her suspicions had rose greatly and she could barely take her eyes off the red she-cat. If she did, it'd be like setting a kit down in front of a hawk, serving her next victim to her on a silver platter. She told herself she wasn't going to let Lovecurse take anyone else away.
All had seemed well for the young deputy, however. Lovecurse seemed to mind her own business, leaving Wysteriaeffloressence alone for the most part. Though, the calico she-cat couldn't help but believe she wasn't the culprit to the mysterious death of her other sister, and best friend.
However, she had decided to try and get her mind off things. The passing of her sister and Lovecurse's odd behavior had left her mind buzzing with thoughts. Wyst chose to ask her mother to go for a walk through the forest with her, but little did she know the fate Melodicflower was about to face.
It had been a chilly newleaf morning, padding through the dense forest outside of the cavern with the gray she-cat beside her. "I'm glad you invited me to come with you. I haven't seen much of you since you became deputy," came the mew of Melodicflower, snapping Wysteriaeffloressence out of her daydreaming. "We hadn't talked in awhile, I figured now would be a good oppurtunity," she replied, flashing her mother a smile.
Silver fur speckling the older she-cat's muzzle made an amused purr escape her throat, "Mother, you're getting old," she teased, "I see silver fur." A playfully flick of a tail on her ears made her giggled, "Oh you hush up," her mother replied with amusement in her voice. It was a normal day, the two of them teasing each other to no end as they meandered along to their favorite hunting spot in the forest.
The sound of a snapping branch made their laughing cease as they became alert and looked about. "What was that," Melodicflower whispered. Wysteriaeffloressence didn't bother to answer and immediately unsheathed her claws. Her calico fur bristled as she gazed around with bright golden eyes. In seconds, she felt a weight smack right into her back, making her crash onto the ground and skidding across the cold floor. A hiss escaped her and she glanced back at her attacker. A tom it looked like, dark brown tabby, piercing blue gaze.
She heard her mother a few lengths off give a startled and confused gasp and immediately she snapped her head around to look at Melodicflower. As soon as her honey colored gaze saw the pelt, she knew it, all of it made sense, "You," she yelled, anger searing through her as Lovecurse stood over Melodicflower with unsheathed claws, not letting their mother get up and.... was she grinning as her claws dug uncomfortably in their mother's dark fur?
Melodicflower seemed to squirm with discomfort and confusion was obivious in her gaze. The tom above Wysteriaeffloressence growled, "Hurry up Lovecurse, get it over with. You dealt with one moons ago, it's just these two now." The new deputy hissed loudly, "You traitor," she yowled at Lovecurse, "I knew you did it! I knew it all along! You took Wingedhope from me," she shrieked, becoming blind with rage as her sight narrowed in on the red tabby pelt of her sister-... no, not her sister... it... How dare it do this!
Before Melodicflower could protest or ask any questions, Lovecurse's jaws snapped around her throat, no regret.. no sorrow... nothing in her gaze but cold triumph as bright red blood welled around her teeth and trickled down Melodicflower's neck, the life in her mother's eyes fading and full of despair. 'Mom... I.. I have no one left...' the thought made her sick to her stomach. Her family was dead... all of them... except what family she knew of that resided in another clan. "You're a monster! You heartless traitor!" Tears blurred her vision further, barely able to make out Lovecurse's form moving toward her. "Terom, step aside," she said, her voice disgusting the young deputy.
As soon as the weight was off of her, she was on her paws and she lunged at her disowned sister, who used her rage and grief blinded sight to her advantage. As she fell to the ground, Lovecurse took the chance to score her claws down her back. Wysteriaeffloressence hissed against the pain and Lovecurse's breath on her neck made a shiver run down her spine. "You won't die yet... I'll look suspicious if I'm the only one of our family not dead," she whispered in her ear. Tears trickled down Wysteriaeffloressence's face. "You're a monster," she hissed under her breath. She was responded to with claws raking down her shoulder, the sudden agony making her cry out.
It wasn't long before Lovecurse was done with her game, Wysteriaeffloressence covered in thick, bloody wounds while Lovecurse had had Terom inflict some on her to make it more convincing. The deputy glared hatefully at them both, "You will rot in Dark Forest you foxheart," she hissed, her voice cracking. Lovecurse ignored her and simply "assisted" her back to camp, where the leader was almost instantly at their side.
As soon as the medicine cat would allow her to, Wysteriaeffloressence limped to the leader, who'd already lost half of their lives. "It wasn't a rogue," she murmured, urgency in her tone. "As your deputy, I demand you banish Lovecurse," she hissed the name as if it was poision on her tongue. "She did this... and she... killed Melodicflower." The shock in the leader's eyes and hesitation made her heart sink, thinking the head of the clan wouldn't listen. But as soon as the cat made its way towards Lovecurse, she felt relief wash over her. Lovecurse was gone... but so was her family.
Later on (about 5-7 moons) Wysteriaeffloressence's leader had lost his last life to a monster, on his way to visit an ally's camp. Many grieved and mourned, including the young deputy. Some even left the clan in search for a better life. However, Wysteriaeffloressence felt she had to be strong for her clan, during their time of need. She was ready to lead them wherever StarClan took them, and she knew nobody could stop her... not even Lovecurse's demented plans.
~Leadership
Waking in a light forest, the calico she-cat looked around, her golden gaze searching the area. As bright, starry figures appeared around her, she sighed in slight relief. StarClan... good.. she had been worried for some reason that she wouldn't be accepted, not that she knew why she wouldn't be... just nervous jitters. Finally, after appointing a deputy, she was here, ready to recieve her nine lives, all of which she would use to protect and keep her clan safe and happy.
The first figure she saw made her want to cry all over again. Melodicflower. She gaped at her, so many words she wanted to say but no time to say them. The gray tabby simply shook her head slightly, "No need," was all that she uttered. Her mother's nose rested on her head gently and lovingly, "With this life, I give you strength. Use it well to protect your clan." Backing away, the gray tabby disappeared back into the crowd of ghostly figures.
The second cat stepped forward and her breath caught in her throat. "Wingedhope," she murmured, her sister's familiar bright sea green gaze bringing back fun memories. Her sister touched her nose to her head. "With this life, I give you hope. Use it well to help your clan cling to the thought that happiness will always come." The warmth faded as the black and white femme stepped away.
Next, the familiar dark tom cat that was her father walked forward, pride glowing in his eyes. "With this life," he annouced, touching his nose to her head, "I give you wisdom. Use it well to make the best desicion for all." He backed away just as the other two had, leaving her staring after him.
The others were family she'd never met, all of which gave her wonderful gifts, shocks and shivers running down her with each new life.
"With this life, I give you strategy. Use it well to lose as few warriors as possible in battle."
"With this life, I give you speed. Use it well to catch much prey to feed your large clan."
"With this life, I give you courage. Use it well to never back down, prove to your clan you will always stand by them.
"With this life, I give you friendship. Use it well to befriend those around you so you may understand all points of view.
"With this life, I give you sympathy. Use it well to understand the sadness that others are going through and help them get through it.
"With this life, I give you honesty. Use it well to create trust between all so conflict may be minimal.
